Pelican
It was a perfect day to tour around and I happened upon this idyllic scene.
I was very close to this guy before we saw him. He was next to a pond full of alligators so I was not watching. I think I took two minutes to start breathing again. Looks like a rattle snake but has the round eyes versus the slant eyes of the poisonous ones. He was sunning himself and we parted ways without incident.
